Agricultura social na Universidade de Wageningen, Holanda	Social agriculture at Wageningen University, the Netherlands
Na Universidade de Wageningen, especialmente dedicada à pesquisa e ao ensino da agronomia na Holanda, existe um programa de Agricultura Social voltado para pessoas que precisam e podem se beneficiar dos efeitos terapêuticos e pedagógicos do cultivo comunitário de alimentos. Por recomendação de Zsolt J.Varga (Wachama Talks) e na companhia de Tatiana Milene Sosa, pesquisadora participante do projeto, visitei a iniciativa em 31 de outubro de 2018.	At Wageningen University, a famous center of research and teaching of agronomy in the Netherlands, there is a Social Agriculture program for people who need and can benefit from the therapeutic and pedagogical effects of community food farming. On the recommendation of Zsolt J.Varga (Wachama Talks) and in the company of Tatiana Milene Sosa, researcher participant of the project, I visited the initiative on October 31, 2018.

Acima e abaixo, longas fileiras de diversas hortaliças, incluindo alho-porró, alface, brócolis, couve-flor, repolho etc. Diferentemente dos projetos de agricultura social visitados no Porto e em Roma, onde os participantes cultivam suas parcelas individualmente, em Wageningen os plantios e seus cuidados são realizados em conjunto, permitindo uma interatividade importante para os objetivos do programa.	Above and below, long rows of various vegetables, including leek, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage etc. Unlike the social agriculture projects visited in Porto and in Rome, where the participants cultivate their plots individually, in Wageningen the crops and their care are carried out together by the group members, allowing an interactivity important for the program objectives.
A produção obedece a um planejamento de rotação das culturas, e na época seca usa-se um sistema móvel de irrigação.	The production obeys a crop rotation planning, and a mobile irrigation system is used during the dry season.

Diferentemente dos projetos de agricultura social visitados no Porto e em Roma, em Wageningen os produtos podem ser vendidos. Eles são comercializados em dois canais: (1) vendas no local a consumidores, para restaurantes e mercados - que precisam ser associados ao projeto, e (2) sistema de CSA ("agricultura apoiada pela comunidade"), onde cerca de 400 participantes pagam uma taxa anual que lhes dá direito de colher os produtos que desejam nas áreas cultivadas.	Unlike the social agriculture projects visited in Porto and Rome, in Wageningen the products can be sold. Two channels are used to commercialize the produce: (1) on the spot, to consumers, restaurants and markets - that need to participate in the association, and (2) a CSA ("community supported agriculture") system, where about 400 participants pay a yearly amount to be allowed to harvest what they want in the cultivated areas.
